“He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not”

“Christian Leaders or Christ-Followers?”

February 9, 2018

“Christian Leaders or Christ-Followers?” < Click here to listen!

“We hear so much emphasis and stress on Christian leadership principles – but what about our primary calling, in Christ, to be his followers?”

Keynote Scripture: Matthew 4

The triune God of the New Testament calls individuals, according to God’s own time and plan; sometimes dividing families, relatives and/or friends (Matthew 10:34-40). In the end, most will be forgiven (Revelation 7:9-17), all but those few who unbelievably will never accept God’s offer of grace (Matthew 31-32). Falling into the hands of the living God upsets our lives ( Hebrews 10:31). We are naturally hostile towards God (Romans 8:7), so because of our inner enmity when God enters our life; we lose normal control of our weaknesses and become helpless in our sins (Romans 7:15). But when we surrender our lives to our savior Jesus Christ, we are rescued from ourselves (Romans 7:24-25) and delivered from Satan’s power over us! (Colossians 1:13) Apauper2

P.S., If we think we’re in control, well when God calls…our natural inner hate will reveal the weakness we lose control of; that only Christ in us and us remaining in Him-will replace with divine nature-rendering satan’s power mute…just sayin!!!

“Keeping tabs on human performance in the family, at school and at work as well as in the world of athletic endeavors fascinates humans – but did you know that God’s grace means no more score-keeping?”
Keynote Scripture: 1 Corinthians 13

“Revelation 7: The Great Multitude in White Robes…9 After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb. They were wearing white robes and were holding palm branches in their hands…13 Then one of the elders asked me, “These in white robes—who are they, and where did they come from?” 14 I answered, “Sir, you know.” And he said, “These are they who have come out of the great tribulation;_they have washed their robes and made them white_IN THE BLOOD OF THE LAMB(Christ Jesus)_.15 Therefore, “they are before the throne of God and serve him day and night in his temple; and he who sits on the throne will shelter them with his presence.16 ‘Never again will they hunger; never again will they thirst. The sun will not beat down on them,’ nor any scorching heat.17 For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; ‘he will lead them to springs of living water.’ ‘And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes.’””(paraphrased)
